3 December 2025 (Webinar) & 14-15 December 2025 (B2Match Virtual Matchmaking)

The virtual matchmaking initiative aims to connect Mediterranean Blue Economy innovators, enterprises, research organisations, laboratories, start‑ups and public stakeholders through a dedicated B2B platform, fostering new collaborations, partnerships and project opportunities across the region. The activity is structured in two phases: a webinar on 3 December 2026 and a full matchmaking session on 14–15 December 2026, both hosted on the B2Match environment and integrated within the broader BlueMissionMed Community, the collaborative space developed under the Blue Mission Ocean and Blue Mission MED projects.

The webinar on 3 December will introduce participants to the functionalities of the B2Match platform, guiding them through the creation of their profiles, the uploading of solutions and the identification of potential partners. During the session, the BlueMissionMed Community will be presented as the central hub where Mediterranean stakeholders can connect, learn and grow. It offers a wide range of tools and services designed to support innovators throughout their journey, including tailored support programmes, capacity‑building activities, services to enhance the impact of solutions, and continuous access to knowledge, events and networking opportunities across the Mediterranean. Through this collaborative environment, participants can benefit from funding opportunities, exchange best practices, discover transformative solutions, build partnerships for scaling and project consortia, pilot innovations in real‑world settings, and receive expert guidance to advance implementation and address regulatory or environmental challenges.

The matchmaking sessions on 14–15 December will provide a structured space for targeted B2B meetings, enabling innovators and organisations to explore concrete collaboration opportunities. Participants will be able to schedule one‑to‑one virtual meetings, present their solutions, identify complementary expertise and initiate discussions that may lead to joint piloting activities, project proposals or long‑term partnerships. The event is designed to stimulate cross‑border cooperation and strengthen the Mediterranean innovation ecosystem by facilitating meaningful exchanges between solvers, SMEs, research centres, laboratories, start‑ups and public authorities.
