This thematic seminar, organised by the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR) with the support of the S3 Community of Practice, will bring together policymakers, regional representatives, and experts to explore the evolving role of maritime regions in shaping the future of Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3).
The agenda includes:
1️⃣ Showcasing best practices in S3 implementation from maritime regions
2️⃣ Presenting innovative blue technologies developed across Europe
3️⃣ Discussing the role of maritime regions in shaping upcoming EU strategies, such as the European Ocean Research and Innovation Strategy and the Maritime Industrial Strategy
4️⃣ Exchanging views on the vision of CPMR members for the future of S3 through a maritime lens
