The ISE Innovation Camps, organized by the Innovative Sustainable Economy Mission of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, are spaces for capacity-building to test in practice the tools and frameworks of the ISE Mission, allowing an open and facilitated debate of the four helixes of the innovation ecosystem, engaged in Mediterranean sustainable development at regional and territorial level.
The 2025 edition took place in Ohlão (Faro, Portugal) on October 23 and 24. Our partners from HCMR and CPMR had the opportunity to participate and to actively engage and contribute during the workshop sessions, which are designed as dynamic exchanges.
The event brought together partners and associate partners of the ISE Mission to exchange insights, co-create solutions, and test in practice new tools and frameworks for enhancing regional and territorial sustainability.
Through its engagement, BLUE ECOSYSTEM:
● Strengthened its capacity to connect place-based ecosystems with broader innovation networks, fostering transformative initiatives in marine protection and blue economy.
● Enhanced its role in stakeholder mobilization and innovation acceleration, particularly in the field of water management, leveraging its network of experts in sustainable development.
● Contributed to advancing multi-level cooperation and governance models for effective environmental transition in the Mediterranean region.
